Welcome to St Mark's College!

We are no longer accepting applications for commencement in 2025. If you are a Study Abroad/Exchange student coming to Adelaide in Semester 2, 2025, please contact us to discuss your options.

Applications for the 2026 academic year will open in the new year.

St Mark's College is a university residential college in Adelaide, Australia. We are a values-based residential academic community, committed to supporting students to thrive during their university studies.

With a strong focus on academic excellence and student wellbeing, St Mark’s provides everything a student needs to thrive in one location, including academic and wellbeing support, onsite facilities including a library and gym, private bedrooms, full catering and scholarships.

Admission to St Mark’s is competitive, and students are selected for membership on the basis of:

  • Academic merit and determination to succeed in their studies;
  • Commitment to upholding the values of the College; and
  • Potential to contribute to College life.

We are also committed to ensuring that St Mark’s is a diverse and balanced community, and in making offers we take into account the overall composition of our community.

Applications for new students are accepted year-round for commencement in February of the following year. In a typical year, we would expect to receive c.200 applications for c.90 places. We recommend applying before August to avoid disappointment. There is also a small mid-year intake each year. You must have commenced or completed your final year of secondary education before commencing your application for St Mark's.

Offers are conditional on meeting minimum academic requirements and being accepted into a Bachelor-level or higher, full-time, on-campus degree program at the University of Adelaide, University of South Australia or Flinders University. We warmly welcome applications from postgraduate students, international students, and students undertaking Study Abroad programs through our affiliated universities.
